Big Red Rib & Music Festival: Thursday, April 28th - Sunday, May 1, 2011 on the Great Lawn at University of Phoenix Stadium. The event kicks off with live coverage of the 2011 NFL Draft and includes musical guests and lots of ribs. Admission for adults is $5, seniors, military and children under 12 are only $1. There will of course be food and drinks for sale. Antique and Classic Car show and BBQ: Saturday, April 30th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Goodyear Ballpark and Recreational Complex. There will be Ford Model A's and Model T's, as well as more contemporary hot rods and custom cars. Admission is free, but there will be food for sale. 'Spring' performed by the Glendale Community College dance students will take place on Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at Glendale Community College.
